County Kerry Dingle Peninsula


This site, like many others, is not mentioned in any historical document, excavation has shown it to be a site of significance. It is surrounded by a great cashel and has an Oratory with Slab Shrine, 42 graves, several clochans or beehive huts and a Cross Pillar Stone and several Cross Slabs. There may have been a wooden Oratory before the stone one.
