St Tassach (d 470) had a Roman name, Asicius; he probably came with St Patrick from Britain; he was a priest and possibly a bishop. He lived on the island of Rathlin O’Birne (qv) for some time. The 10C Church has an enclosure and is somewhat restored. There is also a Cross-base.
