This Holy well is dedicated to St Fursey and where it is said he was cured of blindness. lies at the foot of the Knocknadobar mountains, it also called ‘Ahachoura’ and was the place of a major assembly. Stations of the Cross ascend to the mountain top at 650m. A white speck on the right of the second photograph indicates one of the stations. However the well is now much neglected.
